As a dog trainer and behaviourist in Barrow-in-Furness, my mission is to help as many people and pups as possible live happy and contented lives together for now and in the future.

I believe by creating a meaningful and deep impact my clients will pass on their knowledge and skills to their children and grandchildren.

They’ll demonstrate how to live in harmony with dogs and explain how they really see the world. Ultimately raising generations where kindness and understanding is at the centre of how we live with and train dogs.

With a focus on positive reinforcement and clear communication, I work with you and your pup to build a strong, trusting relationship and address any behavioural issues you may be experiencing.

I’m here to support you and your dog on your training journey.

I offer face-to-face sessions in Barrow-in-Furness, Walney, Newton-in-Furness, Dalton-in-Furness, Askam-in-Furness, Kirby-in-Furness and Ulverston.

If you live further afield in Millom, Broughton-in-Furness, Greenodd, Cartmel or Grange-over-Sands, we can train at my home address or arrange a mutually convenient location.

Coco came to us with some of the challenges you can get with a rescue dog, and she’s also had some physical setbacks along the way, so she certainly wasn’t the easiest or most straightforward dog to work with! Lindsay has taken the time to really understand Coco as an individual and work with her at her own pace. The difference over the last few months has been incredible. Coco is so much calmer, happier and more confident, and seeing her progress to the point of earning her rosette was such a lovely moment for us. ❤️ Lindsay is incredibly knowledgeable, patient and kind, but what I particularly love is that she genuinely cares about Coco and celebrates her progress with us. She’s also been brilliant at teaching us what to do, so we can carry on the work between sessions. I think Coco is proof that training can make an enormous difference at any age, even with a dog who has had a slightly more complicated start in life. We’re so grateful to Lindsay for everything she has done for her and would wholeheartedly recommend her, especially to anyone with a rescue dog or a dog who needs a little extra understanding and confidence

You’ve been so patient, calm, and incredibly understanding of Bonnie's needs and behaviour from the very start. Your knowledge and passion for what you do really shine through, and you've given us the tools, confidence, and support to help Bonnie become the happy, well-behaved puppy she is today. Bonnie absolutely adored you, and it was lovely to see how much she enjoyed every session. Not only are you amazing with the puppies, but you are fantastic at teaching the owners and the younger family members too. Nothing is ever too much trouble, and if we ever have a question, you're always there with advice, guidance, and support. Having that reassurance throughout the journey has been invaluable. Without a doubt I wish I found Lindsay earlier Cooper was a very closed up pup always biting wouldn’t settle in his cage wouldn’t listen to simple commands straight away after the first session he was settling in his cage from start to finish I couldn’t of done without Lindsay and her knowledge she always had an answer to all of the questions I had and sent me some material to read up on some stuff we’d discussed I will 1 million percent be passing her details onto everyone best trainer in Barrow 💯 cooper will miss his second favourite person 🤣

We decided to approach Lindsay as we were seeing so much conflicting information online on how to raise a puppy. Lindsay has helped me look at the cause of my dogs pulling!

I used to dread going for any walk which involved my 2 year old energetic springer spaniel being on the lead.

I’d avoid walks which involved using the lead, if I did have to use it I’d become frustrated and sometimes end in tears. She would pull with all her force, she wouldn’t listen and she did pull me over a few times.

I tried another trainer previously but was made to feel like nothing I did was right.

I was hesitant about trying someone else due to this previous experience. But I didn’t need to worry, Lindsay was very reassuring, patient and worked at our pace.

Each session she sent me videos of us working and a written email saying what we had done and what we were working towards. Really helpful as I’ve a terrible memory!

I feel we now have the tools to be able to progress and tackle our problem areas.

Easy to follow dog training

Lindsay has worked with us and Mac for about 4 months. During that time, we have seen huge improvements in Mac’s behaviour and also our ability to control him.

Lindsay has shown us how to keep his attention whilst also teaching him skills, such as recall, down, sit, calm, lead walking, and how to use clicker and whistle. All this was achieved through playing a series of games, that keep him interested at all times.

Lindsay is very knowledgeable and easy to get on with, her training methods are easy to follow and practice. As long as you put the effort in, you will get the results.
